The Yates Sonshine Community
The Sonshine Community gathers on Wednesdays in the Fall, Winter and Spring for a meal, music, an activity and a special lesson for faith and life.
The meal begins at 5:00pm | Activities begin around 5:45pm
Wednesdays
For nine months of the year, the Sonshine Community gathers for a meal, music, an activity and a special lesson for faith and life. There are also other special opportunities, including annual Vacation Bible School.
Sundays
Many of the Sonshine Community are regular worshipers and leaders in worship with Yates. In addition to Sonshine’s ongoing leadership, the church celebrates the ministry with a special Sunday every year.
Want to Volunteer?
Every week, volunteers come into the Sonshine Community to prepare and serve food, help with crafts, support activities, share music, teach lessons and offer encouraging companionship. Won’t you join us?
