India Mission Trip

Our India Mission Team (John, Don, Rebekah, Elizabeth and Melissa) has returned.  Their blog and photos are below.

The team (minus me) with the students and faculty of India Baptist Theological Seminary. Don is wearing the panyana presented to him by the school. Want to know what a panyana is? The answer is in the blog.

The seminary staff cooks the largest pot of rice we've ever seen!

I'm given the honor of inaugurating the Seminary's new website. The web address is www.indiabaptist.edu.in.

Joined by our constant dining companions: Peter, Gospel and Deepak.

This is where your donations at the Women's Tea and the offering at Vacation Bible School went... to make smiles like this one.

Shoes taken off before entering the church for worship. I hope Don doesn't make it a habit to preach in his socks!

I thought you might like to see a shot of the whole team. I don't have any photos of us working because... well obviously, we're working, not posing for pictures. Here we get a break for a couple of hours and a tour of the backwaters and canals in Kottayam, India, graciously provided by Dr. Chacko.
