Women's Ministry

The purpose of our Yates Women's Ministry is to encourage women in the areas of spiritual formation, discipleship, ministry, missions and evangelism.  Our goals are to provide opportunities for women to come to know Christ and to encourage them to grow in their daily walk with Him.  We seek to provide an environment in which women can establish meaningful relationships within the body of Christ as well as reach out to women in our community.
 
We claim this scripture as recorded in Ephesians 3:17b-19 for our Yates women:  "And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power together with all the saints, to grasp how wide, and long, and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."

Our active women's ministry offers various opportunities to accomplish our purpose and goals through special events, Bible studies, and mission opportunities.  In-depth Bible studies are usually held twice a year and include both morning and evening groups.  Special events include Friday evening - Saturday morning and week-day evening conferences with either a DVD message series or a featured speaker.  A mission emphasis is a major focus of each of our events.  We also seek to provide retreat opportunities at off-site conferences when possible.  Each event always provides wonderful fellowship opportunities through which relationships may be enhanced.
