Child Development Center
Yates Baptist Child Development Center (est. 1966) is a full-time childcare ministry, open to all families. We currently hold a 5-star state license and serve children from 3 months to 5 years. We provide high quality care within a nurturing, child-centered environment. Our staff is devoted, experienced, and trained in early childhood education, faith development, and safety.
Curriculum and Philosophy
Yates Baptist CDC nurtures the development of the whole child: physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Our rich environment fosters many diverse opportunities for children to learn by talking, exploring, making, and doing!
Faith Development
We value children as gifts from God, each with unique needs and abilities. We seek a partnership with each of our families as their children learn and grow in harmony with God’s design. Yates Baptist CDC does not teach doctrine. Instead, we teach age-appropriate Bible truths through experiences that relate to each child’s life. We do this in many ways: thanking God for our food, encouraging children to generate their own prayer requests, reading stories from the Bible, and using Bible thoughts within daily routines.
The first five years of life are a journey of wonder, curiosity, and energy! We are blessed to share this precious journey with so many families. We encourage you to come by and take a tour, meet with our staff, and see how Yates Baptist CDC might meet the needs of your family.
