Handbell Choir

Members (ages 18 & up) are selected by the director and must have music reading ability and good rhythmic awareness. The choir plays for worship and presents concerts in the community. One of the favorite outings is playing for the patients at Duke Medical Center or the North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill. The group rings the bells from gurneys that are rolled around from place to place in the hospital. This bell choir meets on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. in the choir suite.
