![]() ![]() Children's WorshipWorship for Preschool and School-Age Children
Birth to Age 3: Before the worship service, families should bring their youngest preschool children to the first floor of our Education Building, where caring adults will provide them with a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. A computerized check-in service (KidCheck) is used which provides an additional layer of security and assurance for parents. The system allows us to communicate with parents via text message should the need arise. Parents will pick up their young preschoolers from the first floor at the conclusion of the worship service.
Age 4 - Kindergarten: Families will pick up their older preschoolers and kindergarteners from their Bible Study classrooms and bring them to the first part of our worship service. Children arriving after Bible Study will go directly to the Sanctuary with their families for the first part of worship. During our congregational singing (as noted in the bulletin), older preschoolers, kindergarteners and their worship leaders will go from the Sanctuary to room 206 where they will sing, play, and learn together. Parents will pick them up at the conclusion of the worship service from room 206. Grades 1 - 5: Children's Worship for older children occurs on the second and fourth Sundays of each month for our first through fifth graders. Children depart the 11:00 a.m. worship service during the congregational singing and go up to room 204 for singing, prayer time, devotional and age-specific activities to enhance their relationship with God. Children are brought back to the Sanctuary at the end of the service. |
